With everyone dealing with the coronavirus or Covid-19, businesses, especially small businesses and entrepreneurs have to take this time to be more vigilant about their business. I know before this virus happening, I was not being productive. Matter of fact, I was taking a hiatus. Now I’m back, in full effect. Don’t get me wrong. I was still posting on social media and doing a little here and there, but as for really focusing and really trying to implement our processes and procedures, not really. However, I’m out of that lazy moment (that’s the only thing I can call it) and I’m back on my grind. I think you have to take a moment to stop and let your body and mind rest or you won’t be as productive as you would like.
Productivity for me is taking time to sit down and plan my week for my job, our business, and my personal life. No, I don’t plan it down to the last minute or second, but I do try to plan what I have to do for the week to two weeks at a time. It helps me to not forget things that I have to get done. I use a planner, my laptop, a notebook and my cell phone to plan. I take a few hours out of my day, usually Saturday or Sunday evening and write down in my planner what I have to do for the week. I also check my notebook and cell phone to make sure that I didn’t forget any appointments or any important things that I forget to put in my planner. This helps me to be organized and productive.
